Defining Chicken Folk Art

Abby Rockefeller, he late wife of John D. Jr., dedicated much
of her life and millions of dollars to collecting all
kinds of American folk art. One article I read about
Mrs. Rockefeller contained this sentence:
"The paintings she collected were done by untrained artists whose works lacked perspective, used bright colors and simple lines, and often did not flatter the subject."
That right there is pretty much an exact definition
of Jax Hamlin and his chicken art.
